At Scotiabank, we are seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $110,000 per year.

The successful candidate will have multiple years of experience in the financial services industry and strong analytical skills. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying financial models to measure business performance and monitor competitor offers.

About the Role:

  • Develop and apply financial models to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Monitor competitor offers and ensure strategic positioning of investment portfolios;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies and optimize portfolio performance;
  • Provide timely insights and recommendations to stakeholders on portfolio trends and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Related post-secondary education or MBA/advanced degree preferred;
  • Multiple years of experience in product P&L management, finance, and/or business analytics;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Sold project management skills to prioritize and manage competing initiatives;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint);
  • Working experience with SAS/SQL is preferred.
