Delivery Driver

JS Delivery Services Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and handle messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients.
- Transport Dangerous Goods: Safely transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
- Use Maps and Trip Planning Aids: Utilize maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery.
- Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
- Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
- Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).
- Basic Security Clearance: Obtain basic security clearance.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
As a Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
