Job Title: Delivery Driver

JS Delivery Services Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and handle messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Handle Dangerous Goods: Transport and handle dangerous goods safely, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Basic Security Clearance: Obtain basic security clearance.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
Work Environment:

As a Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
