About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wakame Sushi Japanese Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
    • Work Term: Permanent
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
