Job Summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team. As a Sprinkler System Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining sprinkler-based systems, completing service calls and repairs, and ensuring all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain sprinkler-based systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Complete service calls and repairs on sprinkler-based systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
  • Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices and maintain proper documentation for work performed.

Requirements

  • 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson status.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Backflow certification.
  • Fire Pump training.
  • Inspection Test and Maintenance course.
