Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing sprinkler-based systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair sprinkler-based systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
  • Maintain proper documentation for work performed and adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices and follow company protocols
  • Perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 70lbs
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

  • 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson status
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
  • Capable of performing physical labor and excellent communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Ability to work well with others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Backflow certification
  • Fire Pump training
  • Inspection Test and Maintenance course
