About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Dexterra. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of our facilities, including floors, washrooms, common areas, and entranceways.
- Replenish supplies, including toilet paper, hand towels, and soap.
- Dust office cubicles and clean and polish chrome and other polished metal surfaces.
- Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches, and doors, as well as window sills.
Requirements:
- Floor care experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and the general public.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- WHIMIS certification is required (training can be provided).
