Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our facilities maintenance team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing repairs and alterations to building structures, including millwork, walls, ceilings, and doors. You may also be required to cut keys and build cores for our lock system.

The successful candidate will have a Red-Seal Inter-provincial Carpenter Ticket and at least one year of related experience. Travel between sites may be required, and access to reliable transportation is essential. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.

You will work under the supervision of the Manager, Facilities Management and Support, and must ensure that all work is done in accordance with codes and Provincial Acts, as well as pertinent policies and procedures.

• Completing repairs and alterations to building structures
• Cutting keys and building cores for the lock system
• Working on in-house renovations and additions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly salary is $26.97-$28.97.
