Position Overview

Velocity Truck Centres is a leading provider of sales, vehicle maintenance, parts, and collision services in Western Canada. As a Regional General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our business operations in the Vancouver Island region.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team. You will be accountable for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations in the region, ensuring a consistent delivery of the P&R Truck Centre / Velocity Truck Centre brand.
  • Assist with the identification, establishment, and implementation of operational best practice policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Company Health, Safety, and Environmental area to implement, promote, and manage a positive health and safety culture.
  • Review and evaluate operating results of the area regularly, comparing against established budgets, goals, and objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to utilize logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
