Job Summary

The General Duty Radiology Technologist is a key member of the Shared Health team, responsible for performing diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. This role requires direct patient/resident care and technical, administrative, and operational support functions as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide direct patient/resident care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain standards of excellence in diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Fluent language skills in both French and English may be required.
