Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

At Alio Health Services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team. As a PSW, you will provide essential support to patients with daily activities in hospitals, nursing homes, or patient's homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing, skincare, and hair care.
  • Provide support with dressing and undressing, as well as toileting and transferring.
  • Assist with the use of personal aids, such as dentures, hearing aids, and prostheses.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks, as required.
  • Observe and report any concerns or problems regarding patients' physical and mental status.
Requirements:
  • PSW certification from an accredited institution.
  • English communication required; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Ability to work shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.
  • CPR certification and a recent police check for the vulnerable sector.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
