Overview

The Sales Merchandiser plays a key role in the success of Frito Lay Canada by providing exceptional customer service to various large and small accounts, including supermarkets and variety stores. This involves merchandising products, freshness rotation, display setup and maintenance, storage room organization, and moving product from storage to the sales floor.

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise store shelving, racks, and displays with PepsiCo products
  • Utilize Point-of-Sale materials
  • Ensure back-room stock is neat and orderly, with clean shelving maintained
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts, creating and maintaining goodwill with all customers
  • Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle
  • Merchandising or retail customer service experience is beneficial, but not necessary
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching over the shoulder
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more and push or pull up to 200 pounds using a pallet jack
