Job Title: Lead Software Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Development Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on transformational solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving innovation throughout the organization. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive software development strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior developers to help them grow professionally and personally.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Leading agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible vacation time, personal days, sick leave, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
