Electronics Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Technician to join our team at I-Gard Corporation. As an Electronics Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in designing and developing power equipment and systems, supervising the building and testing of prototypes, and assisting in the design, development, and testing of electronic components.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop power equipment and systems, including electrical and electronic components, to meet the requirements of our clients.
- Prototyping and Testing: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Assistance and Support: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic components, including reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Project Management: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for projects.
- Quality Control: Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Data Collection: Collect and compile operational or experimental data to support project development and improvement.
- Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
- Documentation: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and other documentation as required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electronics engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in C++ and LabView, knowledge of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT), and experience with design and development of power equipment and systems.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
