About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Technician to join our team at I-Gard Corporation. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing power equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Develop Power Equipment and Systems: Utilize your expertise in electronics engineering to design and develop power equipment and systems that meet our customers' needs.
  2. Supervise Prototype Building and Testing: Oversee the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  3. Assist in Design, Development, and Testing: Collaborate with our engineering team to design, develop, and test new products and systems.
  4. Prepare Estimates, Schedules, and Reports: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and reports to support our engineering projects.
  5. Inspect and Test Electronic Components: Inspect and test electronic components to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  6. Build and Test Prototypes: Build and test prototypes to specifications to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  7. Collect and Compile Data: Collect and compile operational or experimental data to support our engineering projects.
  8. Install and Commission Electrical and Electronic Equipment: Install and commission electrical and electronic equipment and systems to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  9. Complete Work Orders and Reports: Complete work orders and reports to support our engineering projects.
  10. Read Blueprints and Electrical Schematics: Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support our engineering projects.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of computer and technology systems.
  • C++ Programming: Proficiency in C++ programming language.
  • LabView: Experience with LabView software.
  • Surface-Mount Technology (SMT): Knowledge of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) principles.
