- Inspection and Testing: Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure that they are functioning correctly.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and compile operational or experimental data, analyzing it to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Research and Development: Conduct or supervise applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.
- Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Testing and Analysis: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Reporting and Documentation: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check will be required for this position.
- Work Environment: This role will be based in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
