About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at Hansentek. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes, identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the testing process.
  • Estimating and Scheduling: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Writing Specifications: Write detailed specifications for electronic systems and components, ensuring that they meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Inspection and Testing: Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure that they are functioning correctly.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and compile operational or experimental data, analyzing it to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Research and Development: Conduct or supervise applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Testing and Analysis: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
