Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care, promoting continuity and consistency in patient care.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience working in a tertiary care emergency department and/or two years' recent medical/surgical experience with an approved post-basic emergency nursing specialty program.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
