Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse in Emergency, you will be responsible for assessing and prioritizing patient needs, providing emergency nursing care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide emergency nursing care to clients of all ages, including stabilization and resuscitation of multi-trauma victims
- Assess client needs and prioritize care requirements, often with limited information
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain and advance your clinical competence through ongoing education and training
- Participate in designated hospital committees and approved research projects as assigned
- Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two (2) years' recent, related experience
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
