About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Lemay. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans and specifications for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Preparation: Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and other materials.
  • Studies and Surveys: Conduct studies, surveys, and technical reports to ensure the structural integrity of buildings and other structures.
  • Project Management: Supervise the preparation of plans, quotes, estimates, and other specifications to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, and supervise all current projects' operations in accordance with schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in structures.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Professional Certifications: Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP, ETABS, SP Slab, and Safe software.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, French is an asset.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to manage several files simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and positively collaborate in a transdisciplinary environment.
