Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Strategic Consumer Insights Analyst to join our team at Reckitt in Kanata. This role will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to support strategic and operational planning across various markets, including Infant Formula, Child Nutrition, Sexual Wellbeing, Health Relief, Pain Relief, and Personal Care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in producing quantitative consumer tracking studies, ensuring smooth quarterly production of surveys, supplier oversight, and report production. Key responsibilities include conducting ad hoc statistical analysis of data sets using SPSS or other statistical software, supporting teams in interpreting results, and contributing to action plans indicated by the analyses and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting statistical analysis of data sets to identify trends and patterns
  • Supporting teams in interpreting results and developing action plans
  • Producing monthly business performance scorecards to track KPIs relative to targets
  • Collaborating with channels to interpret performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Continuously seeking improvements in measurement techniques to enhance research turn-around rates
  • Leveraging new technologies and platforms to ensure best practice for democratization of data and data visualization
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Math, Computer Sciences, Business, or relevant field
  • Solid grasp of Marketing Research techniques with emphasis on quantitative research
  • Strong understanding of quantitative analysis techniques, including univariate and multivariate analysis
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or R)
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical, storytelling, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex analytics recommendations to both technical and non-technical team members
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and build strong relationships with senior management, marketing, healthcare, and retail sales teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and balance uncertainties and trade-offs to achieve desired business results
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on speed and accuracy
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and independent judgment with a desire to understand consumer behavior
