Job Title: Blinds Assembler-Installer

We are seeking a skilled Blinds Assembler-Installer to join our team at Met Blinds. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing interior prefabricated products, ensuring a high level of professionalism in customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install interior prefabricated products, including blinds and shades, to meet customer specifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Repair and service interior prefabricated products, including blinds and shades.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe installation.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other equipment, to complete installations.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe and secure access to work areas.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.

Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. Attention to detail and ability to work in a team are essential.
