At EXP, we're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Document Control Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you supporting Document Control functions for upcoming Transit projects in our Brampton or Ottawa, ON office.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the printing and distribution process for engineering drawings and documents
  • Perform basic system maintenance and access requests
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation for fast retrieval of documents
  • Organize and set up new projects with approved directories and security levels
  • Work with Project Managers to structure document and submittal logs with reviewers and due dates
  • Monitor and follow up on past due documents and submittal deliverables
  • Compile documents for submission to Clients

What You'll Bring

  • 5 years of experience working on engineering or construction projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience with Document Management software
  • Experience working with MS Excel and other office products
  • Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
