Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Manjit S Gauba Professional Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies, administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, and planning development projects. Additionally, the candidate will respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, and develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop policies and programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Plan and administer development projects to support business growth
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
