Role Description

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join our team as a Clinical Education Coordinator for Critical Care. This role is part of our Interprofessional Practice and Learning department, which aims to create a culture of learning focused on transition to specialty practice programs and continuing professional practice development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate learning programs to meet the needs of our healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create curriculum content that is relevant and effective.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our education programs remain relevant.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Active practicing license with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in Critical Care and/or Emergency Nursing required.
