This role is responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials or business services for our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased, consulting with suppliers, reviewing quotations, and contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems. Additionally, they will provide physical accessibility accommodations and support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials or business services
- Assessing requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
- Developing specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
- Consulting with suppliers
- Reviewing quotations
- Contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems
This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
