About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planner to join our team at Spark Foundry. As a Media Planner, you will play a critical role in developing and executing media plans that drive business results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Planning: Develop and implement media plans that align with client objectives and strategies.
  • Media Analysis: Analyze marketing, client, industry, competitive, and human insight data to determine advertising and media needs.
  • Campaign Maintenance: Ensure quality control and adherence to overall media plan objectives and prepare campaign performance documents.
  • Media Research: Utilize syndicated media, research, and other data resources to inform media planning decisions.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate media objectives, strategies, and executional guidelines to internal and external teams.
  • Client Presentation: Present plans to the client brand group with assistance from Supervisor/Manager.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with media suppliers and stay abreast of market conditions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with external agency partners and participate in account status meetings.
  • Financial Management: Active participation in the overall billing and financial process, responsible for collecting and inputting data, ensuring budgets are tracked accurately and monthly client billing is accurate and complete.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in Media experience, with a focus on acquisition campaigns from start to finish.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, demonstrated experience in negotiating, ability to work successfully within a team, handling high volume workload, and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in math, ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources, technical proficiency, particularly with media systems, PRISMA, and MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
