Pre-sales Solution Expert

Our client is a leading provider of mission-critical business applications that optimize project and service delivery for mid-sized to large organizations.
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-sales Solution Consultant to join their team. This position can be based in a major Canadian city.
The successful candidate will work closely with the sales department to prepare and deliver product presentations that address the customer's specific needs and business challenges. Ideal candidates will demonstrate relevant experience and proficiency in all of the following major skill areas, with an emphasis on pre-sales and customer relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective communication and management of prospect relationships and expectations in a professional manner.
- Leading and guiding prospects and customers through the selling process and recommending business and technical solutions.
- Demonstrating proficiency in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise Software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Project Management (EPM), Human Resource (HR), financial systems (ERP, accounting and payroll), and business processes (BPM).
- Experience in technical software demonstration in a pre-sales mode is ideal.

- Technical Product Presentation
- Business requirements analysis
- Configuring systems to match client's requirements (scripted demos)
- Effective delivery of product presentations
- Respond to technical inquiries from the sales team and prospects
- Complete Request For Proposals (RFP)
- Understand customer business challenges and propose solutions
- Sales assistance or internal work as directed by the team leader, such as fit-to-business analysis, documentation and statement of work preparation
