Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for escorting guests to their tables, taking reservations, and ensuring that the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris.

The Day to Day:

  • You will exude warmth and a professional welcoming presence, in person and over the phone, even under the busiest of circumstances.
  • You will be confident in your communication with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant.
  • You will escort guests to their tables in a timely manner.
  • You will be detailed-oriented and accurately take reservations over the phone and in person.
  • You will understand that first impressions are everything and ensure that the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris.
  • You will be fully versed in a short time and know all table numbers and maintain awareness of each section in the restaurant.
  • You will be able to multitask and handle other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of proven experience in a similar position.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Full availability.
