Capital Planning Analyst

Join the Government of Alberta in shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure. As a Capital Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing project business cases and programming studies that align with Ministry priorities and goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Infrastructure to support project development and ensure alignment with Ministry objectives.
- Prepare recommendations for project approval and provide support to Directors and Managers in the planning process.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve project issues and manage capital grants and contracts.
- Apply systems thinking and creative problem-solving skills to analyze and adapt to changing health trends and infrastructure standards.
- University degree in Planning, Business, Architecture, Health Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in systems planning, policy development, healthcare management, and/or facilities development.
- Knowledge of Ministry business plan goals, program initiatives, and capital planning priorities.
- Familiarity with legislation, policies, and practices of the department.
- Opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Flexible work arrangements, including working from home up to two days per week and modified work schedule agreements.
