Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and customer service skills.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
- Inventory and Supplies
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Human Resources
- Hire food service staff and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Be physically demanding and require attention to detail.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Dependability and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
