Wooden Door Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Wooden Door Assembler to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality wooden doors and other cedar products.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels to meet quality standards.
- Door Panel Assembly: Assemble door panels, trusses, or modular components to create prefabricated housing.
- Inspection and Repair: Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards and mark defective parts or products for repair.
- Surface Preparation: Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Minor Adjustments and Repairs: Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products as needed.
You will be working in a fast-paced assembly line environment, handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
