Wooden Door Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Wooden Door Assembler to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality wooden doors and other cedar products.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels to meet quality standards.
- Inspection and Repair: Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards and mark defective parts or products for repair.
- Surface Preparation: Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Assembly Line Operations: Work on an assembly line, assembling door panels, trusses, or modular components to make prefabricated housing.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in woodworking or a related field is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Work Environment: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional handling of heavy loads.
