We have an opportunity for a Relief Part Time (0.48 FTE) Diagnostic Imaging Technologist in Merritt, B.C. If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy everything in this gentle paced, affordable and rural lifestyle, then we would love to hear from you.

This position will work rotating day and evenings shifts with the shift times being 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 15:59 to 23:59.

What You Will Work On

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The technologist also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.

About Our Team

The Nicola Valley Hospital and Health Centre has eight acute care inpatient beds and includes a 24/7 Emergency Department, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Public Health, Mental Health, Home and Community Care Nursing and Home Support and Lab and X-ray.
