This position will work rotating day and evening shifts with the shift times being 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, and 15:59 to 23:59.
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray, and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. p>

The Nicola Valley Hospital and Health Centre has eight acute care inpatient beds and includes a 24/7 Emergency Department, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Public Health, Mental Health, Home and Community Care Nursing, Home Support, and Lab and X-ray. The Medical Radiation Technologist performs radiographic and related duties working in conjunction with radiologists, physicians, and other health care professionals.

Effective April 01, 2024 – the hourly wage for CLXTs will be $36.p>

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body. One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
