About Hallmark Dental Laboratory

Hallmark Dental Laboratory is a reputable dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are seeking a skilled Denture Lab Technician to contribute to our team's success.

Job Summary

The Denture Lab Technician will be responsible for setting teeth and processing complete dentures, partial dentures, and implant-supported dentures. This role requires extensive knowledge of dental technologies and a commitment to creating a safe and pleasing environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set teeth for complete and partial dentures
  • Perform gingiva esthetic wax-ups (festooning)
  • Conduct gingival cutbacks and pour on milled PMMA arches
  • Trim and polish dentures
  • Trim and polish denture products (custom trays, guides, etc.)
  • Assemble digital dentures
  • Customize shades for denture products
  • Sandblast and bond repairs
  • Process dentures (pack, Ivobase, pour, etc.)
  • Communicate with support for denture hardware
  • Work chairside with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant-supported cases
  • Stay up-to-date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant-supported cases
  • Degree in Dental Technology or a similar area of study
  • Minimum of five years of denture experience
  • RDT or denturist qualification is preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills for working closely with dentists and clinics
