Advanced Denture Technician Role

Hallmark Dental Laboratory, a leading dental lab in Atlantic Canada, is seeking a skilled Advanced Denture Technician to contribute to our team's success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality dentures, partial dentures, and implant-supported dentures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set teeth for complete and partial dentures, ensuring precise fit and aesthetics.
  • Develop gingival esthetic wax-ups (festooning) to enhance the appearance of dentures.
  • Perform gingival cutback and pour on milled PMMA arches to achieve optimal results.
  • Trim and polish dentures to meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Assemble digital dentures, utilizing advanced technology to create precise fits.
  • Customize shades for denture products, ensuring a natural appearance.
  • Sandblast and bond repairs to extend the lifespan of dentures.
  • Process dentures, including pack, Ivobase, and pour, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Communicate effectively with support teams for denture hardware, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Work closely with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant-supported cases, providing exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant-supported cases.
  • Degree in Dental Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in denture fabrication.
  • RDT or denturist qualification is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with dentists and clinics.
