At the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Supply RECE to join our team of early childhood educators. As a Child Care Supply RECE, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to children, including toileting, first aid, and medication administration
  • Engage with children and ensure their safety and supervision in a group setting
  • Plan and implement play-based learning in accordance with the YMCA Curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and volunteers
  • Provide an inclusive environment that supports the needs of all children
  • Adhere to work schedules and provide adequate notice for scheduling changes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Up-to-date immunizations
  • Availability requirements: minimum of 2 full days per week or 2 mornings and 2 afternoons
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
