Job Overview:

  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to maintain a well-organized stockroom and ensure timely merchandise updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during store business hours, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems.

Store Presentation:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Stay aware of and assist in maintaining SEPHORA's merchandising concepts, including visual displays and product placement.
  • Participate in programs to reduce shortage/loss, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Merchandising and Operations:

  • Process shipments in a timely manner, verifying accuracy and completeness before storing or displaying merchandise.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom according to company standards, ensuring easy access to products and efficient inventory management.
  • Check in all visual elements, communicating missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Ensure safety and tidiness standards are respected and maintained at all times, preventing accidents and promoting a healthy working environment.
  • Communicate inventory issues or concerns to Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or Store Managers, seeking guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures, managing inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in inventory control, counting and tracking stock to prevent errors and discrepancies.

Expected Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of retail/client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
  • Excellent computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent, with a flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
