Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SHERWOOD CHICKEN FOODS INC. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
