Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and steel
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to heights, confined spaces, noise, and dust. You must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of settings, including industrial, institutional, and residential locations.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours
