About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Road Assist Fleet Technician to join our team at BCAA. As a key member of our Road Assist network, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to member requests for roadside assistance, including mechanical repairs, battery boosts, tire changes, lockout services, and towing.
  • Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and resolve appropriate solutions.
  • Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion.
  • Assist in all weather conditions, ensuring a positive member experience throughout the assistance process.
  • Promote BCAA memberships and general information about affiliate products and services.
  • Report any issues and take the initiative to resolve them, seeking support as needed.
  • Uphold BCAA service and safety standards by ensuring BCAA vehicles, equipment, and tools are kept clean, orderly, and in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Completed high school diploma, preferably with Red Seal Certification.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostics experience.
  • Good driver with a clean BC Driver License Class 5.
  • Capable of lifting at least 70lbs during member service while prioritizing safety throughout the process.
