Retail Sales Manager Job Description

1231285 B.C. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and implementing effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of 3-4 sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Determine the most effective merchandise and services to sell, and implement pricing and credit policies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Oversee payroll administration, performance reviews, and staff development.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail sales management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in point of sale systems, accounting software, and database software.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent position.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language.
