Job Summary:

The Medical Transport Assistant will be responsible for transporting patients between care facilities, answering call signals to determine patients' needs, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients between care facilities
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of patients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (over 45 kg/100 lbs)
  • Work as part of a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment:

The Medical Transport Assistant will work in an urban area and be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
