Health Solutions Professional

Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Field Based)
The Health Solutions Professional will interact directly with Healthcare Professionals to implement value-added offerings designed to support physicians and other HCPs in safely prescribing both new and existing products for improved patient outcomes.
This role requires a strong personal commitment to excellence, a passion for customer service, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continued learning and a track record of delivering value to healthcare professionals and their patients.
This sales-focused role is accountable for delivering on individual and/or team business plan targets in line with corporate objectives.
The Health Solutions Professional will conduct face-to-face, virtual, and phone calls with a territory-specific panel of physicians and associated healthcare professionals to educate them on relevant company and product information, enabling professionals to make informed decisions for their patients.
This includes planning, creating, and implementing educational and promotional programs with a territory-specific panel of physicians and associated healthcare professionals in the identified territory.
The Health Solutions Professional will build and manage relationships through face-to-face, virtual, and phone calls with customers, seeking to understand their needs and requirements to find opportunities to partner with them and/or bring value to their practices.
A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as science, business or equivalent is required. 2-5 years of work experience in sales is preferred, along with 3+ years of previous pharmaceutical experience or health-related industry experience. A valid Driver's License is also required.
Key skills include developing and maintaining credible relationships with healthcare professionals through understanding customer needs and bringing value to every interaction, as well as attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills to manage the complexity and demands of the business.
Familiarity with computer software literacy and fluency in Email/Internet & word processing and spreadsheet software is necessary. Additionally, the ability to live in or close proximity to the territory is essential.
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
