Job Summary

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is a critical role within PET VALU, responsible for safeguarding company assets and preventing theft, fraud, and other losses. This position oversees the loss prevention program in the BC1 Distribution Centre, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a culture of prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to prevent theft, fraud, and other losses
  • Oversee the physical security of the DC, including monitoring and maintaining LP equipment (CCTV, Intrusion, Access Control)
  • Train employees to acquire a culture of preventing loss within the DC
  • Investigate internal and external theft and fraud, conducting interviews as necessary
  • Coordinate periodic LP audits of GTA DC to ensure CCTV, intrusion, and access control equipment is functioning properly
  • Establish baseline KPIs and reports to support the Warehouse Management System and improve inventory accuracy
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Loss Prevention Distribution Centre experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience investigating and conducting internal theft/fraud interviews
  • Wicklander and Zulawski or similar designations are an asset
