We are seeking an experienced Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Nerval Corporation. As a specialist in glass installation, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality glass products and services.



The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of glass installation procedures and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be required to determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation, measure and cut the glass, position and secure the panes in the frame, assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, and install door, window, and other hardware.



Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing glass doors and other glass structures, transporting cases of glass, and handling heavy loads. You will also be required to work in physically demanding conditions, bending, crouching, and kneeling on a regular basis.



To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong physical capabilities, including the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues.



As a Glass Installation Specialist at Nerval Corporation, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and to develop your skills and expertise in glass installation. We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including dental and health care plans, and a permanent employment contract.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Determine type of glass, frames, and materials required for installation
  • Measure and cut glass
  • Position and secure panes in frame
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Transport cases of glass
  • Handle heavy loads
  • Work in physically demanding conditions, bending, crouching, and kneeling on a regular basis


Requirements:




  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation
  • Strong physical capabilities, including the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
