Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation project.
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass according to specifications.
  • Position and secure panes in frames accurately.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products as per client requirements.
  • Install door, window, and other hardware associated with glass installations.
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Transport cases of glass safely to minimize damage during transit.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads regularly.
  • You will need to be able to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently throughout the day.
Required Tools and Equipment:
  • You will need to provide your own tools, including those necessary for measuring, cutting, and assembling glass.
  • Safety equipment and gear, such as steel-toed boots, must also be provided by you.
