Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high expectations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
