Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food to customers.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
