About the Job:

MELFER PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INC. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and lay sod or seed to ensure a lush and healthy lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees to add color and vibrancy to our properties.
  • Apply fertilizers and water plants, lawns and/or gardens to promote healthy growth.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as needed to maintain property boundaries.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
